Meet Miss Alexandra Tenovici, a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Berkshire Grove Hospital. With a distinguished background including an MD, FRCS Equiv, and EBSQ credentials, Miss Tenovici specialises in the surgical treatment of both benign and malignant conditions of the breast, as well as reconstruction and symmetrisation procedures.

Miss Tenovici places great importance on providing comprehensive support and treatment for patients at high risk, offering risk-reducing or prophylactic operations when necessary. She advocates for multidisciplinary assessment of patients to ensure holistic care.

Having received training in France and Romania, Miss Tenovici graduated from university in her home country with a Dissertation on The value of HP examination of the sentinel node in invasive Breast Cancer. She further honed her skills through a surgical techniques scholarship in Leipzig, Germany, and general surgery training in Romania. Her expertise in oncoplastic procedures was refined during a post CCT breast surgery fellowship at Oxford University Hospital, where she developed a keen interest in partial breast reconstructions. In 2017, Miss Tenovici was appointed as a Substantive Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS FT, where she continues to excel in her field.

In her practice, Miss Tenovici adopts a value-based approach, prioritising the assessment and mitigation of risks associated with surgical procedures.
