Your Journey Starts Now

Your journey with us begins with the very first phone call or email. If you decide to go ahead with a procedure you will be offered an appointment date. Before this date, you will have two pre-operation consultations. These can either be held remotely or in person.

Your first consultation will be to discuss your concerns and your desired outcomes. Together we will then work out which procedure is best for you.

Once you have decided on a procedure, we will send you detailed information customised to you and your needs. This will entail written and video content and will include everything you need to know including any potential risks and complications.

During the second consultation, we will go through your information pack together and will answer any questions you may have. We promise to provide you with all of the information you need prior to your surgery.

Do Not Take Our Word For It

Prior to surgery, we can pair you up with another patient who has had the same surgery as your planned procedure. You will be able to connect with them, ask them any questions and hear about their experience. A lot of paired individuals have become great friends and we are extremely proud of the community we help to create.

Before Your Surgery

You will have a telephone appointment with our pre-assessment nurse. You may be asked to visit the hospital for a blood test and heart monitor. You will then receive further information outlining everything you need to know before your surgery. This will include details such as what you can or cannot eat before the procedure and what you can or cannot do such as smoking and exercise. It will also let you know which medication or supplements you can or cannot take. The day before your surgery, you will receive a telephone call to reassure you and to check everything is sorted, including having your follow-up appointment booked.

FAQs

  • You do not need to bring much with you as we ensure you have everything you need to be comfortable here. However, we do advise you to bring your phone charger with a long lead. Additionally bring cosy clothing, your toothbrush and toothpaste, and any medications you are already taking. We will provide ipad for entertainment and a dressing gown for comfort.

  • We will provide with the medication you will need during your recovery (usually painkillers and antibiotics, sometimes blood thinners). It would also be advisable to ensure you have access to over the counter pain medication at home.

  • After your surgery, you will be taken care of to the utmost level. If your procedure requires an overnight stay, you will be taken to your private room. • Each and every member of our team are highly trained and experienced so complications are extremely rare. All possible outcomes will be discussed with you before your procedure. When a revision is required due to a medical necessity such as an infection, free revisions are always provided due to our duty of care.

  • If a revision is required due to reasonable aesthetic dissatisfaction within 12 months, we allow free revisions. It must be acknowledged however, that results do change over time due a variety of factors such as age and weight changes. This will be discussed and outlined before your procedure so you are completely aware of any possible outcomes and changes over time. If dissatisfaction is not due to a failure of the surgery and is a reasonable expected outcome, revision is of course an option but it will not be free of charge.

  • When building our brand new location, we prioritised ensuring disability access. The entire theatre suite and in-patient rooms are all on the ground floor and are all accessible with regulated door way widths for wheelchairs. There are also lifts to take patients to other necessary floors. We have an outpatient room on the ground floor too.

  • Due to advances in the anaesthetic, some procedures can now be carried out as day surgery such as liposuction, breast surgery, eye lifts, scar removal, and ear corrections. Once we've decided which procedure is right for you, we will discuss whether it will entail a shorter admission or an overnight stay with us.
