Dr. Malik's journey in the field of medicine began with a Bachelor's degree in surgery and medicine, along with a Bachelor of Science degree from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry. His training took him through renowned institutions, including The Royal Marsden, The Royal Free, The Royal London, UCL, Moorfields Eye Hospital, Charing Cross, Hammersmith, and St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
He has been awarded prestigious qualifications, including FRCA (Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists), FFPMRCA (Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine), and the European Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA) from Greece. Dr. Malik's commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his Executive MBA from the United States, solidifying his expertise in Anaesthesia, Regional Anaesthesia, and Pain Management.

Dr. Malik is a recognised leader in his field and is dedicated to the education of his colleagues and trainee pain specialists. Holding MAcadMEd teaching credentials, he serves as the Course Director for the RCOA accredited Regional Anaesthesia Course at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust. He also serves as Faculty for the Ultrasound in Interventional Pain Medicine Comprehensive Course, sharing his knowledge both nationally and internationally.
His research contributions have been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he is an esteemed member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, including the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
