Mr Roland Hettige

Consultant ENT Surgeon & Rhinologist

Mr Hettige is an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Facial Plastics Surgeon, who has a specialist expertise in Rhinoplasty/Septorhinoplasty surgery.

Mr Hettige spent 10 years gaining super-specialist training in advanced septorhinoplasty, nasal and sinus surgery both in London (St Mary’s, Guy’s and Harley Street Hospitals) and Oxford (John Radcliffe University Hospital).

Mr Hettige is not just a Facial Plastic specialist but also an ENT surgeon. This means that as well as appreciating the aesthetics of the final result he also places great emphasis on the dynamics of your nasal airflow, ensuring the nose you end up with will have function and beauty.   

 He relocated to take up his NHS Consultant job at Frimley Health NHS Trust in 2017 and is the lead surgeon in the trust responsible for the Rhinology service. He routinely accepts referrals from other surgeons to perform difficult and revision surgery, and his unique skills and experience now attract referrals throughout Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and the London boroughs.

He has vast experience in performing over 1000 successful Rhinoplasty surgeries, so he can help guide his patients through the whole process right from decision making on what nose is best suited, through to the post-operative care and beyond.

He has trained multiple fellows, published quality literature in the field, as well as taught on multiple courses, even speaking internationally on these subjects.
